This is the second entry I wrote for what was supposed to be the first entry.  My mission for this blog is to teach good health by writing on the type of topics that I taught patients as a Registered Nurse of a long career.  The idea for this began years ago as I learned to use diagrams and simple language to communicate to patients going to the Operating Room what they would look like when they got back, and what types of equipment they would have.  I also did In-Service Education and Continuing Education classes for a few facilities where I worked.  The idea for this blog has evolved into a more general teaching effort and you may read one of the websites I created for the teaching of good health at http://gloriapoolepappas.rnurse.googlepages.com/. It is my intention to develop this into a resource for people who need general information on a variety of topics.

I still have a current Registered Nurse license, and teaching the public what I know is one way of maximizing that.

I will have to see the type of comments I receive before making any committment to leave comments open. I learned the hard way, from my blog at gloriapoole.com/blog/ that is messed up now, that because of the nearly one million comments that were on that blog at once,and that had destructive code posted to it [by commenters, not by me!] , that required me contacting the FBI. So please if you comment, be decent and do not post a comment that has script  in it, or destructive malware in it. I  am interested to see what topics the public is interested in while at the same time,wanting to maintain an honorable name and reputation, and NOT be in trouble with the feds of any nation. FYI, my full legal name is Gloria Poole Pappas, {RN} but I am in process of divorce.
