I have thought about writing this entry for a long time. I didn't do it before because I thought maybe men would better receive this info from other men, but then no men were willing to discuss it or at least that I knew of on line in a way that is easy,accessible to any and free education for you. So here goes on the topic of a man's "seed" as the Bible calls a man's sperm. I am going to include the Bible verses on this topic because this teaching must come from the mouth of GOD in the BIBLE and not from me. I am a Registered Nurse and you may know that. Years ago, I worked in the Student Clinics at the University of Georgia where I was also a student at the time, but in the B School [business school for you who don't understand that University lingo]. While working there I had to staff the STD clinic intermittently when my turn for that came around, and I learned much about how desperately there is a need for someone to teach something on this subject. My heart is pure in this matter so don't get any ideas, you guys. I am writing this as a Reg Nurse and as a Christian. I state upfront that my motives are : to prevent STDs. to hopefully instill in you guys a need to protect your seed for the purity of the human race, and to help increase the numbers of babies born alive.

The Bible mentions the word "seed" in reference to a man's sperm more than 284 times and therefore I conclude that GOD's intent was clear, and that is to maintain a clean and pure gene pool for future generations. I will list the principles as I understand them and give the Scriptures but obviously I cannot quote 284 Scriptures in this entry. I encourage you to look them up in The Bible. I prefer the King James Holy Bible because I love the poetic language of it and the in-your-face-boldness of it at times.

First of all, remember that GOD's promise was to Abraham and to his seed thus establishing for all the time that recognition that GOD expects men to reproduce and to produce coming generations. Here are some of those Scriptures: Genesis 15: 5, 13,;17:7,8,10,12; 22:17,18; 24: 7, 60; 26: 3, 4, 24; 28: 4,13, 14; 32:12, 35:12; 38:8; 48:4,19; Exodus 28:43, 30:21; 32:13; Exodus 33: 1, and I quote specifically, "And HE {GOD} brought him [Abraham] forth abroad, and said, 'look now toward heaven, and tell the stars; if thou be able to number them; and HE said unto him, "so shall thy seed be." Genesis 15: 5. So conclude this, if a man pleases GOD he will have much sperm.

Principle number 2: no male should let his family name die out. Quoting Genesis 38: 8, "And Judah said to Onan, go in unto thy [dead] brother's wife,and marry her and raise up seed to thy brother." Genesis 38: 8 and repeated in several scriptures.
 
Principle number 3: a man should protect his seed from defilement, quoting Leviticus 15: 16,17, "and if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even[ing]. And every garment and every skin whereon is the seed of copulation shall be washed with water and be unclean until the even[ing].

And quoting Leviticus 18: 20-23, "and thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to molech [ a false god that heathens sacrificed too] neither shalt thou profane The Name of thy GOD, I AM THE LORD. Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, it is abomination. Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto; it is confusion. "

Principle number 4: don't sow your seed with "mingled seed" quoting Leviticus 19:19, 'ye shall keep MY statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle [nor thy menfolk either] gender with a diverse kind; thou shalt not sow thy seed with mingled seed. "  I am not certain myself what GOD considers a diverse kind but I think it means in the case of men, not with unhuman nor those of the wrong s-e-x and if you don't understand re-read the previous paragraph.

Principle number 5: marry well, quoting Leviticus 21: 21, "they shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane;"

Principle number 6: if a man has what we would call an STD, he should maintain a distance, quoting Leviticus 22: 4, "what man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whosoever toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him, . . . the soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even[ing] and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water."  Leviticus 22: 4 & 6

Principle number 7, "clean" in GOD's eyes, causes one to conceive, quoting Numbers 5: 28, "and if the woman be not defiled, but be clean, then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed. This is the law of jealousies when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled. [aka adultery because in verses 11-27 is described what the priest of GOD was to do, to determine if a woman was defiled or not. Read them for your sakes.].

Principle number 8, what you do also affects your children and GOD's relationship to them, quoting, Numbers 25:12-13, GOD speaking to Moses, saying, " wherefore I give unto him MY covenant of peace; and he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the Covenant of an everlasting Priesthood; because he was zealous for his GOD, and made an atonement for the children of Israel."

Principle number 9: if you displease GOD HE may damage your seed, quoting Deuteronomy 28: 58-59, "if thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law,that are written in this book that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful Name, THE LORD THY GOD, then THE LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues,and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance."

Principle number 10, if you please GOD, HE will bless you and your seed, quoting Deuteronomy 30: 6, "and THE LORD thy GOD will circumcise thine heart and the heart of thy seed, to love THE LORD thy GOD with all thine heart, and with all thy soul that thou mayest live."

Principle number 11: when you as a man make a Covenant for protection and friendship of a righteous nature of course,  with another man it should include his seed also, quoting I Samuel 20:42, " And Jonathan said to David, 'go in peace, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in The Name of THE LORD [as a covenant of friendship, read the preceding scriptures] saying 'The LORD be between me and thee, and between thy seed and my seed,forever. " I have to comment on this because there was a time in the country when a man's promise to help another was routinely extended to the children of each other, sort of like a brother would. In fact, in some cultures, it is even called a blood covenant or a blood brother type relationship where each committed to protect the family and dwelling of the other.

Principle number 12: GOD "sets up" a man's seed for a future, promising to bless the children of a man who pleases GOD, quoting II Samuel 7:12, "And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers [in death] I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. "

Principle number 13, GOD punishes the seed of an entire nation at times, quoting II Kings 17:20, "And THE LORD rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them,and delivered them into the hand of of spoilers, until HE had cast them out of HIS sight."

Principle number 14, GOD cuts off the seed of the wicked, quoting Psalms 37:28, "for THE LORD loveth judgement and forsaketh not HIS Saints [believers] they are preserved forever, but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off."

Principle number 15: the seed of the righteous shall endure, quoting Psalms 89:24, "his seed also will I make to endure forever, and his throne as the days of heaven."

Principle number 16: sow your seed in the morning when you are fresh, quoting Eccelesiates 11: 6, "in the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening, withhold not.. for thou knowest not whether shall prosper either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good."

Principle number 17: the seed of evildoers is corrupted, quoting  Isaiah 1: 4-5 " a sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil doers, children that are corrupters; they have forsaken THE LORD; they have provoked THE HOLY ONE of Israel to anger, they are gone backward. Why should ye be stricken anymore? ye will revolt more and more, the whole head is sick and the whole heart faint. "

Principle number 18: If a man please GOD, his seed will have food and be blessed, quoting Psalms 37: 25 and 26, "I have been young and now am old; yet have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. HE is ever merciful and lendeth, and his seed is blessed."

Principle number 19, if a man forgets GOD, even though he may have planted his seed and the seed grew yet it will cause heart ache to him, quoting Isaiah 17: 10-11, "because thou hast forgotten THE GOD of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the Rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips. In the day, shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish; but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow."

Principle number 20,GOD punishes the "sons of sorceress and the seed of the adulterer" quoting Isaiah 57: 3-5, "but draw near hither [to hear MY judgements upon you]  ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore, against WHOM do ye sport yourselves? Against whom do ye make ye a wide mouth and draw out the tongue? Are ye not the children of transgression, a seed of falsehood? Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

Principle number 21, GOD spoils the seed, quoting Jeremiah 49: 10, "for I have made Esau bare,and have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself; his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbors, and he is not."

Principle number 22, the rotten seed is a judgement of GOD, quoting Joel 1: 15-17, "Alas for the day! for the day of THE LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from THE ALMIGHTY shall it come.is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our GOD? The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered."

There are many other Scriptures on this topic and I urge you to read them and comprehend that GOD defines HIS ways and HIS truth and those that heed HIS words, are blessed and those who don't are not. Read Deuteronomy chapter 28 also for more on the topic of being blessed.
